Cottage on the Cliff Reworked
This pastel painting was one I had attempted a few years before when I was learning the techniques of pastel pencil art. It is one of Colin Bradley’s more advanced workshops that uses 13 pastel pencil colours. I also found it a lot more difficult than it looked, so I decided to revisit it with a little more experience later on. I did it for a third time in 2021 when I was trying to get back into doing my art again after a difficult 2020. This third version was done using different pastel paper and a different brand of pastel pencils to the first two, just to give it a bit of variety.
