I didn't have a lot of time for artwork (or this website) last year as I spent most of it editing books. The image shows four of the titles I edited from the Springer-Praxis range. Tim Peake and Britain's Road to Space looks at the mission of Britain's most recent astronaut and the chequered history of UK manned spaceflight. To Mars and Beyond, Fast details the development and history of the VASIMR® plasma engine being created by former NASA Shuttle astronaut Franklin Chang Díaz. The Last of NASA's Original Pilot Astronauts looks at the story of the Group 5 and 7 Selections of the late 1960s, the 19 who worked at NASA from the end of the Gemini program until well into the Shuttle era and the seven who transferred from the USAF Manned Orbiting Laboratory program. Finally, Dream Missions examines all those imaginative ideas and proposals that didn't quite come off, looking at the reasons why and whether any of them could be feasible in the future. Apart from these, there are three other titles due out soon.
