Return of the Wolf
This wintry portrait of a grey wolf was ironically painted in the spring of 2015 during a rare lull in work commitments. The painting is based on an image I found on an old calendar, but while that image depicted the animal in an expansive landscape, I wanted to focus on the wolf. It was an option that worked well because the original sold on first viewing and it is now available only as a print.
